Your Pet's First Visit
A pet's first visit to the vet can seem a bit daunting, so we've put together a list of info and resources to help you prepare.
At your first appointment, we will gather information about your pet’s background, health, diet, and training. We can also address any questions or concerns you might have.
Your veterinarian will examine your pet from nose-to-tail, looking for things like heart murmurs, ear infections, and/or parasites. Your vet can also provide pet-proofing tips, training assistance, and parasite protection recommendations.

Appointment Policies
Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your pet's appointment for check-in. If you have not filled out all relevant patient forms yet, plan to arrive 10 minutes ahead of your appointment.
While we do our best to make sure all of our patients are seen on time, there will be times of occasional unexpected delay due to an emergency or because we are providing care for a patient that needs a little more time. Please accept our apologies should this occur, and understand that the same dedication and courtesy will be provided to your pet should they ever need it.
"I'm here to write a review for strong veterinary Hospital because they honestly changed the trajectory for my cat for the rest of his life. Giving credit where it is sooooo underwhelmingly due. I have an elderly cat who was severely matted and needed to be put under in order to have his fur shaved. The vet that he has always been taken to was not accommodating and unable to help, after explaining how he would not be able to go to a groomer unless he was sedated I was recommended to take him to Petsmart... I was not comfortable with him being sedated outside of a controlled environment and said the only way that I can think of is for him to be taken to a vet where they can sedate properly. I called about 20 different places and by the time I called strong veterinary hospital I was about in tears. Tiffany was so calming and reassuring to me on the phone. She placed me on a brief couple minute hold and went to find the MD who was actually in surgery, about five minutes later she returned and said that they would take him the next day. I brought him in the next morning and two hours later they had established care, drawn labs to ensure that it was safe to put him under, and shaved!!! He is now a happy boy, no longer appearing uncomfortable and in pain. I can't thank you guys enough. My Bo Bo baby is now going to spend the rest of his life happy and comfortable and this is all due to the kindness and compassion this place showed me that day. Another detail that I didn't include was the veterinary doctor called me herself, explained everything and answered every question with kindness and I just want to cry because they changed his life. Thank you THANK YOU THANK YOU!"
